Mallarpur Shiv temple in Birbhum district:
Mallarpur is located in Mallarpur village and the village is about 2 km away from Mallarpur Railway station. A temple dedicated to Lord Shiva is located there. The temple is one of the oldest temples in Birbhum district. In ancient times the temple was surrounded with dense forest. The main temple is surrounded 21 temples and a holy pond situated in the side of the temple. The place is about 10-12 km from Tarapith.
Birchandrapur Temple in Birbhum district:
Birchandrapur, named after Birchandra Goswami-the son of Nityananda. There is a Vaishnab religious centre (ISCON Temple) with some old temples in Birchandrapur. The place is approximately 10 km from Tarapith.
